Let’s work together.
We invite the Hearn community and neighbors to work closely with us to shape and support the Hearn Road District. Thank you for your participation.
What the community is saying

"We believe in preserving the quiet beauty and natural charm of our rural community. High- density development threatens the peace, open space, and quality of life that makes this place special. Let's protect what makes our area truly worth calling home."

"I inherited this land from my father. My father inherited this land from his family. That's the way it's always been on Hearn Road. I fully support the Hearn Road District and want to see families use their land as they see fit."

"I feel so fortunate to live on the most beautiful road in Chatt Hills. Hearn Road is the epitome of a beautiful family compound that's matured over the years to include new families and neighbors. I moved here from Alpharetta for a kinder, more gentle lifestyle, with livestock as pets and neighbors that have become family. As I envision the future of my family, I'd like for my sons and their children to know this lifestyle. I'm in full support of this Variance request and ask Planning & Zoning and City Council to pass this unanimously.

"A few years back, during a drive down to Serenbe, I peeled off on Hearn Road. I was immediately struck by the bucolic rolling hills, legacy family compounds, grazing cattle and Ray Hearn's 100 year old barn. I purchased that land. Much like my neighbors, I want my loved ones to be my new neighbors too. Enjoy a bluegrass band on Saturday nights overlooking the meadow at Ray's Barn. I am acting as a catalyst in creating this alternative development mode. It's a throwback to the ways it's always been here. It's rural. Restores freedom back to the families. It stands for community.
